5 Reasons to Grow Vegetables on a Windowsill

- Its Cheap – you only need a few pots, a propagator, compost and some seeds,
- Its Easy - Only 5 Steps required: 1. Put compost in the pot, 2. water, 3. sow the seeds, 4. water and 5. leave to grow.
- Its Quick – Lettuce and Radish will start to grow leaves after 2 – 4 days, carrots are slow growers so will take 5 – 7 days.
- Its Indoors – you can look at it on the way to the fridge or when you close the curtains.
- Its Lunch – ever fancied a a bit of lettuce in your cheese roll? go to the windowsill and just cut a few leaves off. Now that’s what you call convenience food.
