There’s plenty of vegetables that can be grown in pots in July and August, so if you are starting sowings now, try hardy spring onions, chantenay or round parmex carrots, french beans (see my latest efforts growing them here – Top Tips to Grow Better French Beans), oriental leaves, Pak Choi, lettuce, beetroot and turnip.
