In a survey by the National Trust 70% of 1000 people think that gardening is an important part of their lives. The National Trust has a Veg on a Ledge scheme which means everyone even in flats has the opportunity to grow vegetables on their window ledges or in boxes.
What have The Whitehouse, Downing Street and the Queen got in common? They all have vegetable patches in their back gardens!

New Wikipedia style website to record all our planets species
Recent launched EoL – Encyclopedia of Life is creating a webpage for everyone of the planets species which includes 5000 mammals, 8000 reptiles, 10,000 birds, 250,000 flowering plants, over 1 million insects and god knows how many viruses and bacteria. A big project for professional scientists, leading experts and budding amateurs in the field.
