Garden Organic Vegetable Growing Cards, Courses & Events

Garden Organic is a 50 year old UK charity for organic gardening, farming and food. They provide organic gardening advice, support for schools, research, development and maintain 2 demonstration gardens, one in Essex and one at their main HQ near Coventry where they also started the Heritage Seed Library.

I’ve just signed up to Garden Organic with membership into the Heritage Seed Library as well. I’m looking forward to growing some heritage vegetable varieties next year and receiving my membership pack. After growing my own vegetables for the past 2 and a half years, I’m know there is plenty I can still learn from the organic experts.

Garden Organic also have a treasure trove of resources on their website (some of which are only available to members). They have produced a series of Free PDF Downloadable Growing Info Cards. These are bright, colourful and handy at-a-glance reference cards which contain Plant, Grow and Eat details along with sow and harvest months and vegetable facts.

These free PDF down-loadable Growing Info Cards also come in Fruit, Herbs, Edible Flowers and Green Manures. What are you waiting for, there’s no excuses now, so get growing!
