Sowing Carrots, Beetroot, Cabbage, Chard, Spinach in April

This weekend is the sunniest we’ve had in ages so I took my chance to start sowing my vegetable seeds. As the winter has felt like its been here forever I feel like I’m sowing my seeds late but checking on last years record, I’ve found I’m actually sowing in early April whereas last year I started at the end of April.

There are quite a few vegetables that can be sown in April so I’ve sown quite a few rows of different vegetables but I get excited this way as its a race to see which seedlings will appear first.
