Christmas New Potatoes

Buy Tubers: Online or in garden centres from July
Plant Tubers in Pots: Late August
Chitting: No need to chit, just plant in pots.
Harvest: October to December

Potato To Do List

  1. Buy Potato Tubers from garden centres or online shops from December to Early April or August (for Christmas new potatoes).
  2. Buy or recycle pots, bags or tubs that are at least 10 inches deep,
  3. Plant Salad Potatoes, 1st and 2nd Earlies in late March and early April in pots or raised beds.
  4. Plant early or late Maincrop Potatoes in April in pots or raised beds.
  5. Plant christmas new potatoes in August in pots.
