Beetroot Moneta is a very striking vegetable to grow in the vegetable garden with its lime green long lobed leaves and vibrant dark red stems. It takes approximately 4 months from seed to harvest with good sized smooth purple roots.

Growing Requirements: Sow in Modules or direct into Raised Beds.
Soil Preparation: Add multipurpose compost before sowing.
Variety Features
Description: Globe shaped beetroot with smooth skin.
Colour: Purple.
Resistances: Good resistance to bolting so it can be sown early.
Special Characteristics: Unusually for beetroot where a number of seeds are together in one cluster seed, this variety has one seed in each cluster so that if sown carefully, it eliminates the chore of thinning seedlings later.
