Sowing Details
Sow: Autumn: October to November to overwinter until Spring or Spring: Sow February to May for late summer harvest.
Harvest: June harvest from Autumn Sowing or July harvest from Spring Sowing.
Growing Requirements: Sow in Modules or direct into Raised Beds. Cover with cloches if growing in the Autumn and in February to April due to the frosts. Staking with bamboo canes will be required.
Soil Preparation: Add multipurpose compost before sowing.
Variety Features
Description: Very tall plants, medium sized pods up to 25cm with white beans.
Colour: Green pods, white beans.
Resistances: No resistances. Be alert for black fly on the plant tips.
Special Characteristics: Produces an early crop and has a RHS Award for Garden Merit. It is very hardy and well known for the best to grow over winter.
Height of Plant: Maximum 100cm or 40 inches high.

No. of Weeks to Appear from Seed: 6 to 8 Weeks (in Autumn) 3 to 6 weeks (in Spring).
After 8 Weeks in Autumn: 1 inch high, 2 leaves unfolding with stem pushing upwards.
After 5 Weeks in Spring: 2 inches high with 4 leaves.
