Variety Features
Description: A good tasting spinach which can be eaten as baby leaves.
Colour: Green leaves with dark red stems and leaf veins.
Resistances: As with any spinach, its prone to bolting. Grow Perpetual Spinach instead.
Special Characteristics: Sweet flavoured and unique reddy stems.
Seedlings
No. of Weeks to Appear from Seed: Approx 3 Weeks.
After 3 Weeks: 2 small leaves appear.
After 5 Weeks: 4 leaves (2 serrated, and 2 small wavy) growing larger.
After 6 Weeks: Bolted (i.e. a flower stem appears in the centre and leaves are no longer edible)
